Erhiephihor Newly Sworn-In Executive Pledges Development and Youth Empowerment”

Erhiephihor Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State yesterday Sunday 19/05/24 sworn- in its new executive to run the affairs of the Community in the next two years.The ceremony was officiated by Evangelist Andrew Dokia, Deputy President of the Union of Udu Communities, alongside Deacon Okorode Nigena JP.
The newly sworn-in President, Comrade Lucky Ori, emphasized his commitment to addressing the community’s security and electricity issues. He promised to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to install new electricity poles, thereby improving the community’s power supply.
The new Secretary, Daniel Ovweghren JP, expressed optimism about the new administration’s ability to meet high expectations. He pledged that they will work assiduously to complete projects left unfinished by the previous administration and to drive meaningful development within the community. Ovweghren highlighted plans to make judicious use of funds from the Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMo,) to focused on skills acquisition and providing starter packs for the youth, as well as addressing both infrastructural needs and basic living conditions.

The new executive aims to lead the Erhiephihor Community towards enhanced development and improved living standards, with a strong focus on infrastructural development and youth empowerment.
The newly sworn-in executive also extended their gratitude to several key figures who contributed to the success of the installation ceremony. They thanked Elder Billy Ulolorudi, the eldest man, Chief Joseph Ogoyibo, Chief Lucky Ughelli, and Pa. Teacher Ovweghren, among others, for their invaluable support and participation.
